From laboratory to bottling line.
Taylor’s foundation was built where decisions become products: laboratory analysis, cellar work, bottling, warehousing, and the operational details that determine whether a beverage can move successfully.
President of Gateway Compliance Napa—and a lifelong student of what makes the beverage world move.

A career spanning production, hospitality, fine wine, logistics, and administration provides a rare perspective: compliance is not separate from the business. It is what allows the business to move confidently.
Taylor Marchand is the founder of Gateway Compliance Napa. With over a decade of experience under his belt, there is no situation too complex or challenging to overcome.
Having worked with some of the most renowned trendsetters from Napa Valley to Burgundy, France, Taylor’s savvy at navigating the wine world is second to none. He has worked the cellars alongside Robert Mondavi Jr’s Folio team, and shared a glass with Romanee Conti’s Aubere De Villaine. Taylor has worked in every aspect of production, from lab analysis and bottling, to compliance and warehousing. His experience in the restaurant industry led him to receive a Master Court of Sommeliers Certified accreditation, extending a deep and personal affection for fine imported wines. There is no compliance matter he has not encountered and conquered in over ten years of administration.

Taylor’s foundation was built where decisions become products: laboratory analysis, cellar work, bottling, warehousing, and the operational details that determine whether a beverage can move successfully.
Restaurant experience and Court of Master Sommeliers certification deepened an understanding of fine imported wine—not simply as inventory, but as craft, culture, and a promise made to the guest.
More than ten years of administration now informs Gateway Compliance Napa’s practical approach: see the entire operation, anticipate the friction, and give clients a clear path into every market they are ready to reach.
Advice grounded in production realities, not theory alone.
A complete view from the cellar floor to the consumer’s table.
